Photographer & Founder of Foodtography School
In 2010, Sarah Fennel was a college student who equally missed her childhood loves of photography and her mom’s baking. So she started Broma Bakery as a creative outlet to bridge both passions. Since then, Broma Bakery has developed into a mostly baking blog dedicated to sharing elevated and unique takes on classic recipes. Her photography has been featured in national magazines, media outlets, and cookbooks, and last year she was a finalist for the prestigious SAVEUR Blog Awards in the baking and sweets category.
Recently, Sarah packaged the 9 years of information she’s learned from food blogging into an online food photography school, called Foodtography School. Through a series of virtual courses, Sarah teaches photographers, cooks, bloggers, and influencers how to compose, style, edit, and market themselves within the world of food photography. Her clear, skill-based approach to teaching has garnered her over 2,500 students from all over the world in just over a year.
When she’s not photographing, Sarah enjoys practicing yoga, exploring around her hometown of Boston, and going out to eat with her fiancé, Alex.
